Soccer Fall League (Grades Pre K-8th)
Enjoy the fun and excitement of league soccer! The Medinah Co-ed Fall Youth Soccer League will participate in the Inter-village Soccer League for the U12/U14 leagues. U6,U8,U10 will participate in the Mid Suburban league. Both leagues promotes an atmosphere of enjoyment, teamwork, and good sportsmanship while learning and improving upon fundamental skills. Adult volunteers coach and instruct each team. Teams will be formed immediately following the registration deadline and volunteer coaches will be confirmed and contacted.
Registration
Every effort will be made to place registrants on a team; however, once a team has filled, registrants will be placed on a “wait list” in an effort to create another team. In the event we have enough “wait list” participants, players will be divided up to create an even number of boys and girls on each team. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that your child will play on a requested team. Participants will be informed of team placement by text message from their Coach. Registration Deadline: August 19th for U6,U8,U10
Practices and Games
Practices are held twice a week with practice days and times set at the discretion of the coach. Games will be played on Saturday’s. Time and location of games will be determined by league schedules. Parents must be able to transport their child to and from practices and games. Practices will start the week for U12/U14 August 3rd. First game for the U12 & U14 will be August 15th and playoffs will be on Oct 10th. For the U6,U8,U10 practice will start the week of August 31st, First Game will be September 12th
Uniforms
All players must wear a Medinah Park District uniform. Please note on your registration form the size of jersey you would like (YS, YM, YL, AS, AM, AL). Jersey and socks are included in registration. All participants are required to wear shin guards underneath their socks at all practices and games.
Coaches and Team mom's
The Medinah Park District relies on volunteer coaches to help run this program. Without volunteers, we would be unable to offer such a popular program. If you are interested in coaching, please indicate your interest on your child’s registration form.
