The Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention program uses the Sun Style of tai chi and is designed to be safe and easy on the joints, to improve balance and to be easy to learn. This class is appropriate for all adults, but is especially well suited for those 50+ who would like increased strength, coordination and flexibility, decreased joint pain, improved balance and posture, decreased stress and an increased sense of well-being.Tai Chi requires no special equipment and is generally performed standing. This is the perfect class for older dancers looking to excel in dance in a well rounded way. Pee Wee Taekwon-Do (Sep 30-Nov 18) - Pee Wee Taekwon-Do (Sep 30-Nov 18) Pee Wee Taekwon-Do is designed for children ages five, six, and seven years old.This fun program teaches basic Taekwon-Do skills and coordination, in additionto life skills, danger awareness, and character education. The children are taughthow to better listen, to follow instructions, discipline, and responsibility. Theinstructor is Barry Weisberg, who retired as a high school principal and has alsotaught at both the middle and high school levels.New students are asked to arrive one half hour earlier on the first day to learnabout the program and to purchase the uniform.
