Wiggle and giggle with us! Baby Rock is a unique combination of sensory experiences with stimulating music and exercises to help strengthen and stretch your baby! Activities will include sing alongs, exposure to simple instruments and sensory props, motion exercises, bubbles, and more! Get ready for a rockin’ good time with your tiniest dancer!

Dance III is a 75 minute weekly class designed for upper elementary aged dancers.  In this class we will continue to learn ballet & tap technique and we will introduce jazz technique as well.  Classes include stretches, barre work, class etiquette, basic-intermediate technique of each style, movement games and learning choreography. Please wear leotard, tights, or comfortable form fitted clothing, ballet, tap & jazz shoes.Connecting communities to creative arts--that is what we do at Innovation Arts Connection!  Our progressive curriculum focuses on dance concepts and core techniques as well as teaching the importance of respect, positive attitude and hard work. This track is for dancers of all ages and experience levels who are looking for a progressive session and higher commitment level.  Class will include 1 family observation and 1 in class performance.  NEW THIS YEAR: PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE!!! Within this program, participants can engage in core studio-level dance classes. All park studio classes are held at Medinah Park District’s Connolly Recreation Center. In the event of inclement weather or Covid-19 shut downs classes will be held virtually on Zoom.

Tai Chi is a gentle, low impact form of mind-body exercise with smooth, flowing movements that contain a surprising inner power to strengthen the body and calm the mind while promoting better health and increased relaxation. The Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention program uses the Sun Style of tai chi and is designed to be safe and easy on the joints, to improve balance and to be easy to learn. This class is appropriate for all adults, but is especially well suited for those 50+ who would like increased strength, coordination and flexibility, decreased joint pain, improved balance and posture, decreased stress and an increased sense of well-being.Tai Chi requires no special equipment and is generally performed standing. 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM    Connection Dance Company - Connection Dance Company
The Connection Dance Company brings dancers from all our participating communities together to learn and grow as a team.  It provides dedicated dancers the opportunity to study a variety of dance styles in more depth.  This performing group is a year-round commitment.  Our focus will be creating, leading, and guiding dancers on a disciplined and rewarding path that will instill the fundamentals of dance and performance.  Company members are required to take 1 foundational technique class the entire season (Sept 2026-June 2027) in addition to company rehearsal.  The Company will meet monthly on Fridays and will rotate rehearsal space between West Chicago, Winfield and Medinah.  They will also participate in 3-5 competitions & community events throughout the year.  Rehearsal & Performance Schedules will be available at the first class.  Some additional rehearsals and performances will be during times outside of regularly scheduled rehearsal time. All experience levels are welcome.  Please wear leotard, tights or comfortable form fitted clothing.  Dancers will also need skin toned jazz shoes. The registration fee does not include Company Costume, Competition and Event fees which range from $200-300 for the year and due in October.  It does include 40 hours of rehearsal time to rehearse choreography for 2 group routines. Plenty of therapy dogs will be on hand, eagerly awaiting the chance to be petted and listen to your child read. Please bring along your child's favorite book to share with our furry friends.
